Nehemia 9:16

SV	Maar zij en onze vaders hebben trotselijk gehandeld, en zij hebben hun nek verhard, en niet gehoord naar Uw geboden;
WLC	וְהֵ֥ם וַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּ הֵזִ֑ידוּ וַיַּקְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־עָרְפָּ֔ם וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ אֶל־מִצְוֹתֶֽיךָ׃
Trans.	wəhēm wa’ăḇōṯênû hēzîḏû wayyaqəšû ’eṯ-‘ārəpām wəlō’ šāmə‘û ’el-miṣəwōṯeyḵā:

AC	טז והם ואבתינו הזידו ויקשו את ערפם ולא שמעו אל מצותיך
ASV	But they and our fathers dealt proudly and hardened their neck, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
